Boomerang Bags — Kororoit Creek Neighbourhood House
Boomerang Bags—KCNH recycles textile waste into an array of fabulous items.
Everything from re-usable shopping bags and cutlery wraps, to produce bags, soft toys and draft stoppers. New ideas are welcomed by the group.
Sessions are an opportunity to practice or improve your sewing skills, meet a friendly group and help divert waste from landfill.
New members and drop-ins are welcome.
No need to book – just pop in and say hello!

Craft After Dark – Natural Dyeing
Explore the possibilities of natural dyeing in this workshop series looking at dyeing fabric/textiles using natural items such as local plants and kitchen scraps. Learn about the different steps in the dyeing process, how to prepare your fabric or yarn for dyeing and the best fibres for dyeing.

Drama with Jessica Gerger
A fun weekly drama program for primary school children.
Jessica Gerger has been teaching drama to children for the past ten years and she absolutely loves it! Children will use games, improvisation and simple texts to explore all areas of drama.
Wednesday 4.30-5.30pm (15 May to 26 June)
$12 concession per class. $84 for 7 weeks
$15 full per class. $105 for 7 weeks.

KCNH Gardening Group
Join us for a spot of gardening and get to know other gardeners from the neighbourhood while helping to maintain and grow our community garden.
BYO gardening gloves.
All levels of gardening experience welcome.

Meet up for a cuppa and a chat with other local parents and carers at KCNH. This program is for families with preschool aged children including new parents.

Multicultural Play Group
A relaxed session for parents and carers of preschool aged children to get together while children play.

Relax, strengthen, stretch, slow down, de-stress & breathe… SunYoga classes are gentle, slow paced, friendly and fun. Taught by Lisa Worley, these Hatha based yoga classes improve general health and wellbeing, and are suitable for all levels, including beginners. Join anytime.
